High marks to the FAQ on the DATA Act and FFATA Collaboration Space at http://fedspendingtransparency.github.io/faq/
I'd have given it top marks if the page explained that FFATA is the Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Act. But that's a minor quibble – this FAQ is an excellent resource for anyone looking to understand how federal data standardization is going to work.
The page includes links to the data elements under discussion, and a great answer to the question “What is the meaning of 'data standards?'” This is worth a look if you want to see an open standards project in action. It's a project which will have benefits for us all – and anyone can get involved.
