Have You Seen A Fax Machine Lately?

Monica E. Oss, writing about the problems of data sharing in healthcare, reports: “I conducted a recent focus group with emergency room staff who said their primary communication with consumers' medical care givers was by fax.”

I'm struggling to remember the last time I saw a fax machine (I do have a multi-function printer with a fax line in it though), let alone used one. Would you expected to see one in an emergency room in 2016?  If you know of any fax machines still being used in a business process, write in.   Open Minds
